The ELSA Global Mentorship Program or EGMP is a free resource for ELSA members only and all participating mentors are volunteers. The following disclaimers aim to protect both the mentor and mentee and clarify the scope and limitations of the mentoring relationship.

1. ELSA LSR Alumni Association does not screen the participants and the views expressed by them do not necessarily represent the opinion of the Association.
2. The presence of the name of a registered mentor affirms such mentor’s ELSA membership is in good standing. ELSA makes no direct or indirect representations, endorsements, or guarantees as to the participants’ expertise and accepts no responsibility for the opinions and information exchanged as a result of this program or posted on this website.
3. Furthermore, reliance on information provided by mentors or mentees within the EGMP is solely between them. Please exercise a reasonable degree of caution in your use of any such information. The Program is for supporting the mentees  and is not intended in any manner to substitute professional training or advise, coaching, counselling or therapy.
4. Participation in mentorship programs does not guarantee specific outcomes or achievements.
5. The success of mentorship depends on various factors, including individual effort and commitment. Participation in mentorship programs is voluntary, and individuals have the right to discontinue their involvement at any time if they feel it is not beneficial or appropriate for them.
6. Mentors reserve the right to decline sharing any private or confidential information related to their professional work.
7. The Mentor & Mentee must conduct themselves respectfully during the session, contributing to a beneficial and inclusive mentoring experience. Parties are not to record any part of the session to ensure confidentiality.
8. The Mentorship Program does not guarantee job placement or employment opportunities.
9. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall ELSA or its Executive Committee or its employees, be liable for any damages whatsoever of any kind, including direct, indirect, special, punitive, incidental, exemplary, contractual, or consequential resulting from loss arising out of or in any manner connected with participation in this Program or from the result of establishing contacts emanating from participation in the EGMP.
